Hidden Springs offers small but private sites to relax at camp. It’s located in a beautiful area with redwood trees and the Eel river. If you want to relax under some trees it’s a great place to visit.
Casini is overpriced and has very little privacy. Even so, it can be fun with a group and we have made some nice memories here.
Benbow KOA is a nice spot to camp with a group that doesn’t want to rough it. There are several cabins and full hook-ups. And there are plenty of amenities right at the campground.
Richardson Grove is a beautiful campground. It has redwoods and the Eel river. For being such a large campground there aren’t too many trailer friendly sites, but we wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Campgrounds with both redwoods and a water feature are our favorite places to be.
Gualala River Redwoods Park was a fun campground to visit. We liked our site and the space we had to explore, we enjoyed seeing the redwoods, the river, and the kids especially liked getting to play at the playground. We would not hesitate to go back.
