Nevada Beach is an amazing campground. Right at camp you have both Lake Tahoe and hiking trails. Plus, South Lake Tahoe is only minutes away. This is a great place to vacation, relax, and have fun.
Russian Gulch is stunning. The campground is beautiful. It is small and private. It has beach access, dog-friendly hiking, and lush greenery. And it is right next to the charming town of Mendocino.
Woodside Campground is part of Salt Point State Park, located in Jenner, California. If you're thinking about camping there, here’s what you need to know.
Sugarloaf Ridge was a fun short getaway. We were happy with the privacy and space (especially in the premium sites). And even though there were no dog-friendly hikes, we had a great time playing in the creek right at camp.
Shasta Brewing Company is a convenient place to park your trailer for the night if you need a place to stay around Weed, CA. We would do it again if we needed to, but we wouldn't go out of our way to make it back there.
Diamond Lake is a gorgeous campground. Yes, there are small harmless (but annoying) bugs there. But don’t let that stop you from seeing one of the most beautiful campgrounds there is.
Although it’s disappointing that dogs can’t go on any of the trails at Hendy Woods, we will still definitely go back. Even though we primarily stay at camp, the kids always have an amazing time here. Just being around the trees, getting to climb on logs, riding bikes around, and exploring nature is enough to keep them busy.
Beach campground is beautiful and right on a dog-friendly beach. The small sites right near your neighbors are worth it for the amazing views and easy beach access.
We had fun spending family time together. But, our favorite campgrounds either have large campsites or dog-friendly trails. That way, there’s enough to keep the kids busy right at camp. This campground had neither.
We love how convenient this campground is. It’s small and you can see your neighbors but it’s worth it. There’s space to roam in your campsite, you can walk to a beautiful trail, and you can bring your dog everywhere!
MacKerricher State Park has spacious campsites that feel private, with plenty of trails and beach access directly from the park. Nearby, there are numerous fun activities, including more beaches, trails, a spectacular garden, a train, and delicious craft beer.
