The campground is laid out with gravel parking pads that are mostly level, although some may become muddy during the rainy season.

Hookups & Water

Campsites at Casini offer a variety of hookup options. Some have full hookups, which include water, electricity, and sewer. Others provide just electric and water connections. You can choose the setup that best fits your camping needs.

Drinking water is available throughout the campground. Water hookups are included at most campsites, and potable water can be accessed even if your site does not have full hookups.

There are also two dump stations at Casini Ranch. One is located inside the campground, while the other is near the entrance.

Campsite Layout & Amenities

Campsites are relatively small and do not offer much privacy. Each site includes a metal fire ring and a picnic table. There are no bear boxes in the campsites.

Cabins

If you prefer a more comfortable experience, Casini Ranch offers cabins and covered wagons for rent. These options add a fun and unique twist to traditional camping and are great for families looking for something different.

Facilities

The campground provides flush toilets and showers. There are trash and recycling bins available throughout the park to help keep your site clean and comfortable.

Supplies

Casini Ranch has a well-stocked general store where you can purchase basic supplies and souvenirs. There is also a laundromat available if you need to wash clothes during your stay.

Internet

Casini Ranch provides Wi-Fi access and has a strong cell signal in most areas of the campground. This is especially helpful if you need to stay connected during your trip.

Animals

Wildlife is commonly seen around the campground, including birds, deer, and even the occasional fox. There is also a small animal area with goats, and a duck pond.

Activities

Casini Ranch offers a wide variety of activities for kids and families, making it a popular destination for both weekend campers and longer stays.

Russian River Access

The campground is located directly on the Russian River, providing easy access for swimming, kayaking, and paddling. The riverfront area has plenty of space to relax, play, or enjoy a day in the water.

Playgrounds

There are two playgrounds at Casini Ranch, each located on opposite sides of the campground. These play areas are great for young children and offer slides, climbing structures, and plenty of room to run around.

Gold Mining

Near the general store, there is a fun gold mining station where kids can search for Fool’s Gold. You can purchase bags of rocks at the store, then sift through them at the mining area to uncover small treasures.

Dog Park

For those bringing pets, Casini Ranch includes a designated dog park where your furry companions can run, play, and stretch their legs safely off leash.

Sports Areas

The campground features a basketball court, a Gaga ball pit, and a volleyball net. These areas are great for group games and making new campground friends.

Bike Track

In addition to wide, bike-friendly roads throughout the campground, there is also a small bike track that offers a fun challenge for younger riders. It’s a safe and entertaining space for kids to ride and play independently.

Seasonal Activities

Casini Ranch hosts special events during different times of the year. In the summer, you can enjoy movie nights and ice cream socials. Around Halloween, the campground is known for its festive decorations and themed events.

Shops in Town

Just across the street from the campground, there are a few small shops worth exploring. One local favorite is the nearby bakery, where you can grab a loaf of jalapeño cheese sourdough bread to enjoy back at your site.

Price

Pricing depends on the time of year and the type of site you choose. During the summer, a standard RV site is typically around $74 per night. Rates may vary depending on location within the campground and available amenities.

The Recap

Casini Ranch, like most private campgrounds, is more expensive than regional and state parks. However, the higher cost comes with added amenities. While the campsites offer little privacy, the campground makes up for it with family-friendly activities and easy river access. It can be especially fun when visiting with a group. We’ve made some great memories at Casini Ranch.
