Gualala River Redwood Park Campground Review
Gualala River Redwoods Park was a fun campground to visit. We liked our site and the space we had to explore, we enjoyed seeing the redwoods, the river, and the kids especially liked getting to play at the playground. We would not hesitate to go back.

Sugarloaf Ridge was a fun short getaway. We were happy with the privacy and space (especially in the premium sites). And even though there were no dog-friendly hikes, we had a great time playing in the creek right at camp.

Although it’s disappointing that dogs can’t go on any of the trails at Hendy Woods, we will still definitely go back. Even though we primarily stay at camp, the kids always have an amazing time here. Just being around the trees, getting to climb on logs, riding bikes around, and exploring nature is enough to keep them busy.

Beach campground is beautiful and right on a dog-friendly beach. The small sites right near your neighbors are worth it for the amazing views and easy beach access.
