On-Site Activities
Olema Campground offers several activities right at camp, especially for kids:
- A playground (it is a bit outdated, but still fun)
- Horseshoes

- Volleyball
- A dog run for campers traveling with pets
There is also a creek that runs through parts of the campground. During our stay, access to the creek was not allowed, even though some campsites are located right next to it. There were signs posted asking campers to stay out of the creek, so access may be dependent on conditions.

Located in Tomales Bay State Park, this is an easy beach trail that’s great for kids. There are lots of oyster shells along the trail, which makes it especially fun for younger hikers. This trail is not dog-friendly. - Tomales Point Trail (30 minutes away):
A longer hike with frequent elk sightings and beautiful views of Tomales Bay, Bodega Bay, and the Pacific Ocean. This trail is also not dog-friendly. - Kehoe Beach Trail (25 minutes away):
If you’re looking for a dog-friendly hike nearby the Kehoe Beach Trail offers a packed dirt path that leads to Kehoe Beach and allows dogs on leash. - Point Reyes National Seashore:
