The Parking Spot
There was a large parking lot at the back of the brewery for trailers and RVs to park and camp in. They allowed us to park wherever we’d like in that area. The area was fairly level.
We stayed on a Monday night and when we got there it was around 3:30pm. There were already two other people set up. We still had plenty of space to park. After us, four more people came. Everyone had space but it felt pretty packed.
Even though it was crowded, it wasn’t too loud, everyone was pretty respectful. And we had no issues packing up and leaving in the morning.
The Activities
The main thing to do at the Mount Shasta Brewing Harvest Host is to visit the Mount Shasta Brewing Company. We wanted to support our host so we had dinner there. The food and beer were both okay. We were with another group while we stayed there and about half of the group was happy with their food and the other half was not.
The beer wasn’t one of our favorites, but it was still good enough that we bought a couple of 6-packs to take back to the trailer with us.
Mount Shasta Brewing Company was very dog-friendly. They did have some outdoor seating but there was no shade and it was a warm day. They allowed dogs to come inside and they brought our dog a big bowl of ice water.
The brewery is also right next door to a playground, the Bel Air Park. It was a very short walk from where we were parked. The kids enjoyed getting to play on the playground and run around in the open grass area. There was also a public pool over there but public swim time had already ended.

Shasta Brewing Company is a convenient place to park your trailer for the night if you need a place to stay around Weed, CA. We would do it again if we needed to, but we wouldn’t go out of our way to make it back there.
